Our expert team is here to assist you with any inquiries related to establishing a company within the Dominican Republic Free Zones.

The board of directors of the Free Zones Council is comprised of representatives of the public and private sectors.  Chaired by Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM), members include a representative from the Ministry of Finance, PROINDUSTRIA, PRODOMINICANA, ADOEXPO, ADOZONA, the Executive Director of the National Free Zones Council, representatives of the Free Zones Operators and the Free Zone Association Enterprises.

Through the MICM and the Vice-ministry of Free Zones and Special Regimes, initiatives and strategies are generated, contributing to the sustainable development of companies under the free zone regime and other special regimes, through the definition of policies and instruments that facilitate their installation and permanence.

The National Free Zones Council is a government body, created by Law 8-90, with the purpose of regulating the operations of stablished companies and promoting new investments within the sector.

It works together with the Dominican Free Zone Association (ADOZONA), a private and non-profit organization, to advocate for the zones, as well as the companies within them.
